@arts_milia I think I kind of get it! so sometimes when two colored strings meet you'll do a FB/BF instead of FF/BB to make them change places? that's pretty cool 🙂 in the original pattern it has only one string making that long stripe but for your method you swap strings sometimes to make it consistent right? thanks for the help!

@gjenkn9 thank you so much! Its funny, I look at it and see so many small mistakes and unevenness I'd like to fix 😅 i guess we really are our own worst critic. As for the colour changes, I think a lot of it depends on the string you're using. This one had rather wide intervals of colour changes, which makes the changes smoother (at least in my experience). I also like to make bf or fb knots with the colour changing string, so I continue with the longest string/the one thats furthes behind vis-a-vis the colour changing. @arts_milia. Hi, i just saw your variation on insta... 😍. I used strings from threadworx. I got them on Etsy from AmyRoseJewellerySupplies... unfortunately they are precut and i had to replace them... 🤪
