Hii!! Has anyone or anyone you know made an alpha bracelet with yarn or anything bigger than embroidery thread before? I have a TON of yarn sitting around and I thought I could use it to make a wallhanging that’s bigger in size and thought I could use yarn to achieve it. I’m curious if anyone has done this before? I’ve only ever seen yarn used for crochet on here so I’m curious!!

My mom uses yarn for her wall hangings, and they always turn out good

I use a really thin crochet yarn for most of my projects! ☺️

I use embroidery floss for knotting, but I use a thin crochet yarn for alpha base strings!

I’ve used yarn before, depending on the size of yarn you use it will turn out larger or smaller

Yeah, yarn is good. I personally used it once it turned out alright. I think it will depend on the type though, like a Simple acrylic/cotton would work better than something loosely woven. Its great for bigger wallhangings cause you get more material to work with in a skein than what one embriodery floss is giving you.
