@MidnightTH I used to, but always managed to stay grounded by keeping in mind that an estimated 98% of praise in the military is sarcastic.

While not praise, I can certainly sympathize with hearing something repeatedly to the point that it no longer resonates. Or worse: it starts to become an annoyance. Possibly a "hot take," but I believe that if we're attending a concert or similar venue and we're instructed to wave our hands in the air, and to do so like we just don't care more than thrice, we're entitled to truly not care any longer. 👍 |
