Hey Eveyone,!I know there are a good handful of crocheters on this site. What is y'all's favorite crochet stitch? Why is it your favorite? What types of projects do you normally make? I love a good half-double crochet. I primarily make clothing pieces (tops of all sorts) and I've found half-double crochet is my favorite combination of look and speed. Have a great day!! |

I normally make amigurumi plushies, and I gotta say, my favorite stitch has to the be bobble/bubble stitch!! It’s super cute for when I make axolotl’s and they need tiny little stubby legs, or if I make pickles to make the bumps on them. There’s endless uses for it! Half double crochet is a super efficient stitch as well, getting both height and being able to do it quickly out of it.

My fav stitch is a decrease stitch. I just love it when you finish something up with decreases and then you’re done! I’ve been slowly writing my own crochet Sonic the Hedgehog pattern! I normally make dragons not the plushy ones though, I make more complicated patterns from Megan Lapp of Crafty Intentions!❤️😊

I quite like the double crochet stitch! I’ve been working on a pattern with a lot of them so they’ve become almost second nature. Thus far I’ve mostly made amigurumi plushes but have taken on a crocheted top!

I just love single crochet, doubled are extra steps and when I can just crochet in the round without counting I’m happy. I hate paying attention to stitch counts so I mostly free hand based on preexisting patterns.
