Somewhat. For a spell there, I was beginning to think I'd lost my touch when it came to popping off the caps of such vessels, since the top annoyingly seemed to remain fixed to the ring underneath. Not too proud to confess that I'd only recently learned that's now a feature, not a bug (one of these days, maybe I'll stop yanking them off completely like the knuckle-dragger I am, but it now feels like a small act of defiance 😎 ). Have you ever been so eager to slip back into a favorite pair of jeans that we end up burning ourselves on the red hot rivets when they're fresh out of the dryer...? |
