@-Anyone- I’m not sure if anyone has a tutorial on this, but I’ll just try to explain it to the best of my ability. If you haven’t done a loop for an alpha before, I would suggest watching Kinsey B’s video because that’s how I learned how to do one with an even number of strings. What I did though was basically cut the closest even amount of base strings. So for this pattern, you would cut 12 base strings. You’re going to want to make the length of one side of one of your base strings the length of the rest of your base strings folded in half. The other side of your base string should be a little longer than your base strings folded in half. Then you fold that string so that the short side lines up with the other base strings and you’re going to want to make a larks head knot slightly off the middle of your base strings. Then, you take the long side of the string you just made a larks head know with and use that to make the stitched loop. The other side of your string will be the 11th base string and you can just knot over it like normal. The only thing you have to look out for is that your base strings are the same thickness as your leading strings, so that the bracelet doesn’t turn out wonky. That was a little confusing to explain, so if you have anymore questions, let me know.

@oceanknot how do you do the loop if there's an odd number of threads?

@oceanknot the multicolored thread that I used in this bracelet was from DMC and the color code is 4040. I really like it.

@GOODVIBE Prism by DMC sells multicolor thread with a similar color combo. I don’t think that you can buy it individually, but if you just search up tye dye prism embroidery floss, then there’s a pack of strings (some multicolored, some just plain colors) and there’s 2 skeins of blue, pink, and white multicolor thread in the pack.

@derin16_ it is way to long for me with all the rows. I did 12 on each side of the actual wave and that went all the way around my wrist.

can someone please tell me how long the bracelet is when you make all of the rows? should I add a few more rows to have a full-size bracelet?
