@Meelie aw! Thank you! I used a multicolored thread by DMC, the color code is 4040 if you are curious. 😊

@-Anyone- Nooooo, don’t feel bad. The tutorial that clairehair made was for double triangle ends and the one I explained was for a single triangle end. I even tried to follow clairehair‘s tutorial, but I didn’t really understand it because I’ve never made triangle ends for alphas with an even number of strings, let alone an odd number, so it didn’t really make sense to me. You can try to follow it and you may be able to get it, but since you were asking me, I thought that you wanted the specific way I did my loop.

@CakeCup really? I feel so bad then I bet @oceanknot spent a decent amount of time typing that explanation 😢

@-Anyone- & @oceanknot I believe that @clairehair made a tutorial on how to do a loop with an odd number of strings.

@-Anyone- I’m not sure if anyone has a tutorial on this, but I’ll just try to explain it to the best of my ability. If you haven’t done a loop for an alpha before, I would suggest watching Kinsey B’s video because that’s how I learned how to do one with an even number of strings. What I did though was basically cut the closest even amount of base strings. So for this pattern, you would cut 12 base strings. You’re going to want to make the length of one side of one of your base strings the length of the rest of your base strings folded in half. The other side of your base string should be a little longer than your base strings folded in half. Then you fold that string so that the short side lines up with the other base strings and you’re going to want to make a larks head knot slightly off the middle of your base strings. Then, you take the long side of the string you just made a larks head know with and use that to make the stitched loop. The other side of your string will be the 11th base string and you can just knot over it like normal. The only thing you have to look out for is that your base strings are the same thickness as your leading strings, so that the bracelet doesn’t turn out wonky. That was a little confusing to explain, so if you have anymore questions, let me know.

@oceanknot how do you do the loop if there's an odd number of threads?

@Hassey What kind of multicolor string did you use? I love the colors in the gradient!
