How would you cut this pattern to make triangle ends so that once they’re done it matches up with the beginning of the video tutorial?

I am making this and I am low on the color I am using for the diamonds, so make sure to cut that string xtra long!

I used single color triangle ends technique (see my YouTube video for that) and cut the one colored string off prior to making the ties (but after making the triangle finish)
