@larkali I didn’t do the alternating forward and backward knots with the black for mine, and it wasn’t an issue! i didn’t have any problems with string length.

It seemed like alot at first but as I progressed it became easier,glad there isnt forward backward or backward forward knots,would make it more complicated. A beautiful pattern. When I finish I will post a picture

Anyone who has made this pattern before, how essential to texture/string length are the alternating f and b knots in the solid color portions? Debating whether to follow what the pattern says or to make it easier for segment knotting
