@Laelerbug honestly idk if you gotten your yet but I can assure you they aren’t very fun. For me I have it for a full 7 days. It’s a bloody mess for me and one time my friend invited me to a swim party but I didn’t go because I was bleeding. I’m not meaning to scare you or anything they just aren’t that fun.

@Laelerbug it is normal that people get it at different ages and you can't speed it up because every body is different. Some of your classmates also might not have it yet. Most get their period between 11 and 14 so you are not even unusually old. But it can also happen earlier or later and that's normal too.

Lovely young ladies, I started at age 9, having only a dad and 2 brothers. Also before having any classes about it in school. In fact, our “class” was about 30 minutes where they gathered the boys in one room while the girls in a separate room. It was pathetic. Of course that was in the 70s! You are ALL strong women, and there is NOTHING to be ashamed of for what our bodies naturally do. Just THINK of all the things women bear in life that just continually add to our strength, both physical and mental and emotional strength of being. Use your menses/periods to your advantage, no matter how “easy” or “vicious” your symptoms are, take hold and claim them as your own strength building blocks for yourself!! I love you all!! Hugs, Valori🌺

I have my period does anyone else? I feel like it's weird but I have learned about it since 4th grade and I am in 6th and if you have it and you don't know anyone who has it think about this, Every other girl in you grade will have it sooner or later and some girls may have it but they don't tell anyone. I am fine with having my period but the first time I had a cramp I felt like I was dieing and the world was getting ready to end...😐 but hey, it's all normal and to all the strong women who deal with it stay strong we are in it together. And if anyone wants to talk about this with me just private message me.. I love to chat.
