Hey! My names Alana, incase your wondering my user was UNFORTUNATLY a typo.
I’ve been on bracelet book for a couple months now and I’ve definitely made pretty good friends on this platform which is always amazing! I’ve definitely tried to keep in touch with all the people who have or had messaged me but I am not as active on this site anymore. Feel free to message me any time I’m always open to chat, but if I don’t reply back or it takes me a while to respond it’s probably because again I’m either busy, or I’m just not active.
Here’s somethings about me!:
As you’ve probably noticed I talk TOO
Much lol…
Anyway…
Im an absolute die hard gymnast, omg I love this sport so much, if your also into this let me know and we should for sure talk!
I love sports, any sport you can probably name I like, for example, gymnastics, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, softball, hockey, ringette, pretty much all of them but I just listed the basics I’m also really into cheer! I was on a cheer team for a bit but then slowly moved into more of a gymnastics style sport. Most people probably think that cheer and gymnastics are the same thing but trust me the aren’t they sort of have the same idea but cheer is more of dance and gymnastics combined.
I love animals, they are literally my life, aside from bugs, I swear to god even though they are mostly harmless if a freaking fly lands in my leg I will quite literally have a mini stroke!
I love music! It’s definitely something I love to do, I can play a fewww instruments, such as, ukulele, guitar, piano, bass, and a few more!
I also love making bracelets, that one is pretty obvious, I do prefer alphas over normal patterns but my liking for normal patterns is definitely starting to increase!
This one’s pretty random but I also enjoy reading your guys bios! It super nice for me to know if I have any others on this site who enjoy some of the things I do, so if I friend you it’s probably because we’re alike!
And the last thing I will share is I’m a super outdoorsy person, I love swimming, hiking, horseback riding, allllllll the things you can pretty much do outside!
⭐️✨⭐️🌟BRACELET TIPS🌟⭐️✨⭐️
These are just some simple tips on how to make your bracelets and other projects reach their full potential!:
1) Making your knots tighter.
You as bracelet maker may find that your projects have holes in between your knots, the main cause if this is from loose knotting. To fix this issue all you need to do is overall pull tighter on all your knots this will make the holes disappear!
2) Using a ruler!
Say you’re making an Alpha bracelet keychain or wall hanging and you start to realize your rows are starting to look a little “wonky” you can use a ruler 📏 to push up the rows! The way I’m explaining this sounds weird or difficult but I’m sure if you YouTube “how to make your bracelet rows straight” I’m sure it will go in depth more.
3) Start off easy!!!!
Starting your new hobby of making bracelets can sometimes be intimidating so here’s my tip on how to make it more fun then challenging. Don’t bite off more than you can chew! Start of your projects by making something small, simple and easy. (Candy stripe, chevron) This makes your projects more fun and more rewarding. When you make a bracelet or a wall hanging it can be hard and difficult and you want make sure that you start off easy so you don’t get frustrated when trying something 10x more difficult. This sounds cheesy but it’s true, being frustrated in something decreases your happiness in what your doing, I’ve had SO many friends who quit bracelets because they started off doing something way harder than they could take. Sometimes taking harder tasks makes things more interesting but trust me frustration can definitely take over you sometimes so just beware on how much your doing with your skill level taken into consideration
Those are just a few tips that I really hope help you all. I’ve found that all these tips have helped me become a better bracelet maker and being able to make bigger and more interesting bracelets!

I haven’t been able to find patterns that I would like to make, also if you do end up sending me patterns please don’t send me the MASSIVE ones because I know myself and I probably won’t end up making it until I’m 90 and have literally nothing better to do haha😂
Also k know some people on this site go through others to dos to get inspiration for patterns and anyway I have a little brother so if you pass lighting McQueen patterns and stuff like that it’s for him lol 😂
