since there is no adequate way for me to notate the music that i made up to go with this, youโll just have to imagine it yourself. Imagine 8/8 (emphasis on beats 1,4,7) at around 1/8 = 260. Take a little inspiration from Coltraneโs modal version of My Favourite things and create long vamps between two chords. I think C-7(b13) and Bb-7 work best for this series of patterns. Construct a 5 part clarinet or flugelhorn soli. Improv solos to your heartโs content. For the ending do a grand ole dramatic: C-7(b13), Bb-7, Eb7/Bb, B9/A, B9/G, B9/F#.
