@kkmarsh I don't think you are supposed to pull the knots so tight so that there are no gaps. It seems like you are supposed to leave loose strings or hide the unused strings in the knots at the edges.

Very weird pattern, didn’t finish unfortunately because it’s near impossible to get the knots to lay flat without bunching up and also not have gaps
