Mine comes from a short video (back when Vine was the go-to instead of TikTok or whatever!) of a husky making the most gentle and adorable little “howl” you’ve ever heard and the caption said “softly awooing” or something very similar. I started using it as a username because I loved remembering that sound and the phrase “soft awoo.” Plus it reminds me of my old dog Freya, who used to “awoo” whenever she was happy. RIP Freya.

oOoOo... I have a good story for this one. 😜 A while ago my grandparents got us a Wii for Christmas, and my younger brother wanted to have "Catlover4316" as his username (the last four numbers for his birthday). But since he could only have ten digits, he was "Catlover43." I stole his nickname when I joined this site, except I made the "L" capitalized and changed the last two digits for MY Birthday. (Which is April 1st, two days and two years before his.) Thus, "CatLover41" was born. I also pretty much use this nickname on any other sites that I join, because I REALLY like cats 😻
