What kinds of thread/floss do you use?

I use embroidery floss/thread, but I also use a thin nylon thread as well. Does anyone else use a different type of thread/floss?

I use DMC embroidery floss and Pearl Cotton. I recently tried Alize Forever Simli yarn which is a Turkish yarn that has a little metallic thread in it. I made a post about it in the Hints section of the forum if your interested in learning a little more about it.

When I find floss thrifting, I find a lot of brands that arent just DMC. Walmart carries J&P coats which is what i use mostly, but I also use Prism, Anchor, Puppets, and a couple others! you can also use sock yarn!

I normally use embroidery thread from DMC. I don't really like using craft cord because after a while the might snap if you make your Knots tight.🦁🦁🦁

DMC for solid colors, Prism for variegated, and I use J&P Coats for white and black because I can buy them in bulk at Walmart 🙂

I use DMC embroidery floss, I have one ball of Alize Forever Simli, and Loops and Threads embroidery floss for black and white because I can buy them in bulk cheap online, and I recently bought sparkly crochet yarn that I really like off Amazon.

I don’t really have a preference but I’m finding that I use a lot of DMC embroidery floss, Loops and threads and Prism embroidery floss and Prism Craft thread 🙂 hope this helps!
