I mean they are easier to read for me, but I don’t know how to make many normals. So my opinion isn’t 100% useful

I disagree I think normals are easier cause you don’t have to switch colors, but alpha patterns are easy as in reading them. I think it’s just personal preference 😊

@Pichu10 I think theyre harder cause you have to track where they go and make sure theyre coming out the right side and you have to do specific knots.

I used to think that normals were easier and was super scared of alphas. Couple weeks into making alphas and I decided to switch back to making a normal bracelet... couldn’t do it without messing up every 3 knots. Absolutely not used to the idea of having forward-backward and backward-forward knots in the middle of the bracelet😅

Yeah I agree, I haven’t made a normal pattern in so long. I don’t know why so many people like them more than alphas

YES. All alpha patterns are easy if you can read it. You have to figure out how to segment knot normal patterns
