Also @MidnightTH I'd say for advice, try to remember that all your character's should have distinct personalities, and I like to explore the whole background of my characters in my head or in a separate notebook because how a character was raised, their beliefs, and major life events in their past shape how they view the world, which shapes their personalities.

It’s like in the middle for long or short, no I haven’t read them yet, but I’m planning to soon! My advice is, I try to keep my writing sound like me! You understand? Don’t try to make it sound like who ever wrote warriors or Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Keeper of the Lost Cities, Pride & Prejudice, etc etc. Make it sound like you, Write from the heart!
