Meh, I don't see the appeal. Maybe I'm just jaded (or it's PTSD...) from online dating. If your "match" wasn't an obvious bot or someone who evidently believed brusque, single-word responses was carrying on a meaningful conversation, it was a string of nonsensical emoji hieroglyphics entirely up to me the receiver to decipher... I tend to speak extremely fast with my sister and no one else would understand because it sounds gibberish. My father always told me that I spoke too fast and I didn't believe him until I watched a video of myself talking and sounded gibberish.
