I'm not a hiker, but I love birding too, I work in an aviary (in Chile), its amazing. There's a lot of exotic bird, my favorite are cockatiel they're so cuuuute (I made a keychan of it). More patterns of birds would be amazing!

Went down a bit of a rabbit hole at the notion of hiking in Chile, and the vast disparity of essentials depending entirely on the intended direction.North to south? Several weeks worth of food, water purifier, insect repellant, anti-venom, climbing gear, hot weather apparel, cold weather apparel, machete, a good rifle... East to west? Maybe a bottle of water and a stick of gum [optional]. |

Pinnacles National Park Big Bend National Park - specifically at night when you can see all the stars, its gorgeous. Blue Lagoon - Iceland - I know you said you had a lot of water related recommendations but I had to sneak Iceland in somehow Mont Saint Michel - France Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach - Iceland - take a look at the basalt columns on the beach aswell, its amazing San Marino - a land-locked country in Italy on the top of a mountain, its pretty cool @MidnightTH suggested the Dutch tulip fields, could not agree more they're beautiful Mt. Rainier National Park - There are a lot of gorgeous views of the mountain Muir Woods National Monument - REDWOODS Glacier National Park/Waterton Lakes National Park - I really love these parks, specifically Waterton Lakes. Exceptional views all around Okay I might have gone a little overboard, my bad! |
