Here’s a space to just talk about your little companions! What type of pet do you have? What are their names? Have you ever lost a pet? Feel free to use this as a place to reminisce about them. ❤️❤️ We have two cats, Sweetie and Jolie. My parents got them two years before I was even born, so until a couple of months ago I couldn’t even imagine what my life would be like without one of them. Sweetie is a calico cat- she was apparently originally named Lisa but my parents thought that it was a name that didn’t fit her. Thus, they decided to come up with a different name. She was apparently so sweet as a kitten that they started calling her ‘Sweetie’ and the name just stuck! (She does have a note saying that she isn’t so sweet at the vet though lmao) Jolie is a mixed gray cat, and my parents didn’t choose her- she chose my parents! My mom said that she walked into the shelter and the first thing she saw was a little green-eyed kitten stretching its paws through the cage. So my mom opened the cage door and sweet little Jolie climbed out and up her arm, and before my dad could even finish parking the car, we had another cat! Apparently Jolie used to climb up my mom and sit on her shoulder like a little parrot when she was a kitten, particularly when my mom was cooking. Occasionally she’d wander down my mom’s arm if she was cutting up some meat lol. I can’t even begin to explain the amount of love I have for these two little furry babies. Though, a couple months ago we noticed that Jolie was acting a little strange- not really eating, not interested in cuddles (and Jolie was a CUDDLEBUG), and just generally not acting normal. Her typical chainsaw purr was starting to sound like a raspy wheeze and she just wasn’t herself. So, we took her to the vet and they said her stomach kept filling with fluid and there was really nothing we could do, so we had to put her down. I was devastated and I really miss her so much 💔 As for Sweetie, she’s hanging on but she has a lot of health problems, (kidney issues and a bleeding ear tumor we can’t treat because of said kidney issues) so I’m afraid that we probably don’t have much time left with her 🙁 Anywayssss I did not mean for this to get so long but I could honestly yap about them forever lol. My cat’s name is Jack Sparrow( when he was a kitten he had an eye cold) so his name is Jack. His nicknames are kitty Jack, furbaby, Mr. Murder mittens(my personal favorite ❤️), princess paws( my dad meant this as a sarcastic joke only cause he’s a pampered little thing), ninja paws, just a little baby, and so on. He unfortunately has stomatitis(huge sigh) so sad😭! He’s an inside cat who wants out, but he’d die if we let him out, so we try to keep him indoors. Although he escape every now and again. Like last week for example, my brother was going outside in the dark and left the door open for too long, so the cat escaped🫤. I was quickly trying to grab him without startling him( cause the guy is a scaredy-cat, lol) he stopped and puffed up, so I took my chance to grab him. when I got back inside mom said that there was a skunk in front of me( maybe like 10ft in front of me) so I was glad I grabbed him and ran😮💨! Sometimes he’ll come into my room and stand on top of me to see if I’m alive! Once he sat on my face while I was sleeping, his tail was in my mouth!!!!😂🤪Anyway thanx for letting me rant about my cat!!!!❤️😊

I have a wonderful, amazing, beautiful, gorgeous cat named Gandalf bc he has a long white "beard" (its white fur that goes from his chin to his stomach) and I have an adorable dog named hazel

I have a dog and a rabbit! My rabbit’s name is Dutton, and I’ve had him for about a year now. We celebrated his birthday/gotcha day in November. He’s gray and just too darn cute 😂 He’s named after the Dutton Ranch / the Dutton family.My dog’s name is Coco, and I’ve had her for 5 years now. We celebrated her birthday/gotcha day in March! She’s a white mini poodle we rescued, and she’s such a sweet dog. She really knows how to match your energy, one minute she’s calm and quiet and the next she’s playful and hyper like a puppy!!! We’re not exactly sure how old she is, but we know she’s at least 5! She’s named Coco after Colorado 🌲 Some pets Ive had but don’t have any more are a cat, fish, chicks, and other rabbits. Two of my rabbits were Charlie and Benjamin, and losing them was really hard. We found Charlie after a tragic accident under a tractor, and he didn’t survive, which was heartbreaking! Charlie and Benjamin were very bonded, and shortly after losing Charlie, Benjamin passed away too. He died in my arms grieving the loss of his buddy A friend heard what happened and got us Dutton. We later got Dutton a bunny friend named Autumn because we didn’t want him to be alone, but sadly she passed away shortly after we got her. We think she was sick So now it’s just Dutton and Coco, and I even have a YouTube channel for them called DUTTON AND COCO! @duttonandcoco I know that was all very long lol thanks for listening |

Our neighbor’s cat just passed away! She had he actually wasn’t that old! Like maybe 7 yrs! He caught something bad and he died, but she has a new cat who is a little more friendly! He fell asleep on my shoulder as a kitten!!!! To cute! My cat tried to escape again, luckily we caught him just before the rain decided to fall! He’s a lucky cat.😒
