The Wood by Chelsea Bobulski, one of my all time favorite books and very, very underrated. It’s a standalone YA book that’s low fantasy and has some mystery elements. The ending made me cry so hard, though haha

Here are a few recs (YA): (FYI, I currently have a problem with finishing series (that I enjoy 🤨 ), so I have not yet finished any of the series I am recommending)Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross Duology - I started the second book back in 2025 and, for some reason, stopped? Really love the air of the book (YA fantasy romance). I would sometimes make tea when I was reading the first book to immerse myself. Powerless by Lauren Roberts Trilogy (+2 novellas) - I see that many people have suggested this; it is for good reason. I still need to read the third installment... at this point I am going to reread the first 2 to reimmerse myself. It's a YA fantasy romance. Maximum Ride by James Patterson 9 Primary Books - I read the first of this series at the beginning of HS. I decided to read the whole series and have been working through them throughout the year. I'm on the 6th book so far. I'm totally attached to the characters. They all have their own quirks. Very found family in the midst of adventure. Fallout by Gwenda Bond Trilogy - I read this one more recently. DC inspired. The book follows Lois Lane. She has Clark Kent as an online friend. I found it to be a fun read. My library doesn't have the rest of the series so I have to find another way to read the next books. Made You Up by Francesca Zappia Standalone - I have read this so many times now; I'm extremely attached to this book. It is a YA contemporary romance book. I adore how the 2 main characters interact. Slowly learning more about each other as the book progresses. Note: This book incorporates mental illness and has some swearing. |
