Weirdest tools/accessories you use while making patterns?

What are the weird, odd and out of place tools and accessories you use while making patterns (whether it be bracelet making, cross stitch, crochet, etc)? I have a tie between pliers (to tighten my cross stitch hoops and add jump rings to keychains) or nail clippers (to cut plastic canvas corners to round out corners). Those two definitely stick out compared to my typical cross stitch tools 😂 |

LOL I forgot the old prescription bottles used as mini trash cans for my scraps. That really makes me look crazy in public 😂 😂 😂

Bottles, plural...? I admit, I might raise the slightest of eyebrows if I were to witness anyone with a bandolier belt of them across their chest, into which they were depositing scraps of thread according to color, texture and thickness. 🤔I've discovered that using the toothpick end of a plastic dental flosser can at times be a better surgical implement for undoing an erroneous knot than the standard safety pin. |

I use my desk to measure strings. I was starting to feel annoyed to always have to use my rulers so I figured why not make marks on the edge of my desk for each 10 cm and use them to measure strings.

Not necessarily a tool but in fact how I sit: my bracelets are tied to my massive sticker-bombed water bottle, so I sit on my loveseat couch with my left leg folded underneath me and my right leg on the floor, and the bottle leaning outwards on the edge of the seat (supported by the weight of the water in it. hydrate or diedrate, kids!).

when I make new patterns I sometimes use my cieling fan its very efficient but I also use my house cuz yk sometimes I make the bracelet big like realllll bigggg so big that I can put it as outdoor decor to display u should also try another weird thing like I use my stomach
