alphas they take me much longer half of the time i miscount the knots i need to make., the strings stick out after the colour switches they don't look too good when i try and overall they are more frustrating to me so i don't like to make them too often.

to me, alphas are harder. i’ve been making normal bracelets for years and i’ve only been making alphas for a few months so i’m not super used to them.

personally i find normals harder to do. i find it difficult to read the patterns and figure out which knot goes where

Depends but I really like doing alphas more...the only problem with them is that I like making my bracelets into keychains so I dont have to wear them and I like doing loops but it's kinda hard to do loops with alphas

normals for me. it is hard to change the pattern up more. like the number of strings or something. you have to pay really close attention when reading them because if you do a forward knot instead of a backward knot the entire pattern can easily be ruined.

I'm good at both, but I'd say alphas are harder for me because when I make them, they tend to look uglier 😂 It's harder to get the knot tension right and if you mess it up the whole bracelet warps. So I'm working on that... |
