Whenever I make my alphas and switch colors my knots bubble up and stick up out of the bracelet and it just looks messy, any tips?

I use the flat alpha technique but it still looks weird.

If your colors are showing up from the edges, then don’t do a flat alpha color switch while using the straight edges technique on the edge string. Another tip is just to pull your old leading string really tightly after you’ve made a knot with your new leading string.

Just keep practicing and experiment with the angle of tying the knot.
