any multicolored thread recommendations?

Hi! So I want to get some multicolored thread (maybe some metallic too) DMC is great, but I was wondering if there is anything else people use. Thx.P.S preferably not have to walk into a store to buy the thread (these are crazy times lol). |

Hi! I get mine at Michaels, but you might be able to find some on micheals.com! Theres a pack there for about $4 that comes with 30 skeins!

There's threadship packs 🤷 their DMC but their more rainbow sorta colours. I got a huge pack for $30AUD, and their really good, you also get two skeins or the same thread so yay. There's also Madeira, but I'm finding it hard to find places that sell it online myself, but it works well with all thicknesses of thread 👌🤷😜

I like using Lion brand summer nights yarn it has a strand of metallic in it and makes around the same size knots as embroidery floss 🙂 I used them for the backgrounds of pattern #39181 #26788 #63236 #61893 #25683 and #58547 you can check them out on my profile and see if you like them

I use just the “generic” brand off Amazon. It’s just that they come in larger packs with way more string colors. Though the string is pretty good.

@gerbil i use anchor and they have a light color changing and a dark thread. they also have plenty variegated threads!ps THEY ARE AMAZING AND VERY SOFT! you should def try them and happy knotting<3 |
