would it be possible to create a pattern based on this bracelet?

or would there be strings on either side? (if that makes sense)and if so, would it work better as a normal pattern or alpha pattern? https://cdn-images.farfetch-contents.com/10/57/82/70/10578270_2876266_480.jpg |

Shaped IDK but I could probably put it on a background with an alpha

I think this would need to be done as an alpha pattern, not a normal.I'm not super familiar with macrame but to get the effect like in the picture you have to knot it a certain way. I'd say the pattern consists of the following strings - two black strings for the edge - four blue strings - two white strings - two red strings If you look at the structure of the knots you can see that it is knotted horizontally through the eyes. Here is another evil eye pattern #49390. It's not exactly like in the photo but you could still use it. |

Here is a video on a bracelet looking similar to the one in your picture https://youtu.be/3hqIYcvs-CsLike I said it's macrame, but if you want to make a regular alpha you could use this tutorial https://youtu.be/QVr1Nw_TFag This should be a little easier |
