I use them in alphas when I don't need very much of one color. I made #53158 with mostly scrap thread because I had a lot of leftover pink and blue thread.

I dont really make that many alphas and I totally end up with extra string cause Im paranoid of running out of string. I started balling them up! I now have like a fist size ball of colourful string that is very satisfying to squish and throw around to the happiness of my kitty

I keep it in a stash and then if there long enough I use them as alpha base strings or if there is a spot in an alpha that is really tiny you could use it for that. You could make a rag rug but if it’s really short I Kitt’s throw it out. You also could save them for a sliding knot.

i think a lot of people either do 1 of 2 things. they either keep it for a rag rug bracelet or another one like that. or save it for alpha bracelets hope this helps! ❤️
