Hello ! So I’m making this pattern (#8873), and at the end of the pattern there are different strings then the beginning, this is normal right?? And for the people who made this pattern do you ever go back to the same order the strings were in the beginning (I hope this makes sense 😂) like do u ever go back to [A B A B A B C D C D C D] Thanks for taking the time for reading!! 😊 |

The older patterns on the site don’t always have the bottom strings matching the top ones, now they won’t accept patterns like that so it’s easier. As someone said above, you just continue the pattern ignoring what colors the strings are. 😊

Yo7 repeat the pattern but ignore the string colors and swap them out with each other (tell me if this was confusing)

After you reach the bottom keep going in the order you tie the stirrings if that makes sense after that you won’t need the picture

@s_brclys72 so like say the first time you do a forward knot with color a then a forward knot with color b and then a forward knot with color c the second time you would do a forward knot with color c then a forward knot with pattern a then a forward knot with color b

When you reach the bottom, you start from the top of the pattern again; you do the exact same knots the pattern suggests, but you ignore the colours.
