Hi everyone! I'm new to making alphas and I find that when I'm making an alpha, the image on the bracelet turns out longer than the original pattern image. So like if I was making a pattern that was a square, it would turn out more rectangular than square. Is that just a tension issue? any tips?

I think itโs normal. The knots are more rectangular than square so it might look like itโs distorting the image.
