For the loop I have to take seven straps that are twice as long as my wrist and then I can make the knots, right? Do the leading strings have to be included in the loop?
Base strings: For a bracelet you need the length of your wrist circumference plus some extra for ties. If you want to make a loop in the beginning, take double the length.
Leading strings: Just leave them on the skein and cut them in the end
