@eggr0ll the base strings should be as long as you want your ties to be, plus the length you want your finished piece to be. So about 18 inches each is good to work with, maybe less depending on if you make a loop or different type of ends. Then you sort of have to guess at the length for all the other leading colors, so you can either knot wih the whole skein in tact or just add in more color later if you run out. 😄
I am working on this pattern right now because I wanted to challenge myself. I love all of the patterns that you make and I am trying to push myself to create thicker and harder alphas. I will definitely make sure to post a photo when I am done! ❤️
