@grt you could try counting the knots in the loops on the photos. I think it's possible to count the knots in some of them and in others you can at least estimate it well.

I tried to make this pattern using masha’s tutorial she was not clear on the string configuration and I spent hours and hours to try to make it work but it just wasn’t I am mad I sent to much time on a piece that I ended up ditching
@itsknots I just followed Masha Knots tutorial on this pattern it includes how she made the triangle ends. It is slightly difficult to follow if you are doing only one gradient instead of 2 but you should do fine! Hope this helped!!!
