@vscogorlsk ik this reply is really late, but try making your knots a bit less tight. However, it may be the thickness of your base/background strings which you really cant change. If you're looking at the one created by @Someone_ with the blue planet, I think they used some type of yarn instead of craft thread/embroidery floss, making the bracelet thicker. Hopefully this helps!
