@crystalg94 Because I made it for my kitty, which was about twice the length of a regular bracelet, no. But I can imagine when making one for a bracelet, depending on where you start some may be shorter (for instance, if you start at the very beginning of this pattern, the Dark Blue string will be the shortest because the pattern holds mostly dark blue until it makes a full round of each possible color combinations). In doing the collar, I had gone through all the color combinations, so the ones that had repeated had been slightly shorter (in the case of following the pattern, if I had started at Dark Blue, ran through all combinations, then ended past the next Dark Blue repeat, the string for Dark Blue would be shorter. Long description short, if you do one whole length of combinations before it repeats, you shouldn’t get one string shorter than the others, but any one more than that can cause shortage.🙂
@Konakat1 oh thank goodness. Yes I’ve said this to another cute kitty owner when I saw it wearing a bracelet as a collar. So it’s very good to get the word out.
@cro_meg27 yes, it’s already bee added. 🙂 I’m a veterinarian and have seen those situations unfortunately, but that information would be helpful for other cat owners who make collars too! 👍
@Konakat1 if you’re putting it on your cat as a collar PLEASE add a breakaway clasp or 2-3 inches of elastic. Cats need to be able to get out of their collars if it gets stuck on something or caught in their mouth etc. it’s VERY DANGEROUS for your kitty otherwise.
