GiuseppeK: @Nainika Masha has videos on adding/swapping out threads. I can vouch that they work just as well with normals as they do with alphas. Up until the moment we need to make that first dark knot, it doesn't really matter what color the thread is until that exact moment.

Last Christmas Eve, suddenly to my wondering eyes there appeared a terrifying apparition looming over a younger, far more squared away-looking version of myself. Without saying a word, the specter pointed a skeletal finger at me, and my doppelgänger feel to his knees in horror; pleading for the spirit to show him no more--babbling something to the effect of why was he being shown this if he was truly past all hope? As quickly as they had both appeared, they vanished, leaving me to retort "Hey, WTF?!" into the void.
