@mchen I usually make each string a little longer than the length of my entire arm, maybe from my fingers to my opposite shoulder. For patterns with an even amount of colors like this, I make each color the length of my wingspan and fold in half with a loop at the top. Of course you'd have to adjust depending on how long you want your finished bracelet, anklet or keychain to be. 😄
