@dori_music for me strings would be about 90 cm (35 inches) on average but that only applies to patterns where the strings are used evenly. This is not the case here. I wrote a tutorial on how to calculate string length based on the amount of knots made that you can check out if you want to.
@dori_music for an average bracelet I would recommend 40-60 inches for the design and ties. On almost all bracelets I usually grab the tip of the string in one hand and drag the length to my opposite arms shoulder or a little past to get those lengths and cut some strings longer or shorter within that range depending on how much strings are used in the pattern. 60 inches might feel a bit long but it would definitely prevent an issue if running out of string. I don’t remember exactly which color strings were running out quickest in this pattern other than the darkest orange (outside rind of fruit). You should cut that one a few inches longer than the others for sure.
