I remember seeing this pattern for the first time, and thinking I will never get around to making it. Now a year later I started making this pattern realizing how much simpler it is once you start to make it.

@emmagilll I'm not sure, if there is a pattern that is the exact half of this, but #28009 is similar and there are many other similar patterns too.
