Finished it and absolutely love it. I used the craft cord, which I haven't used before, and the only thing I noticed is that the cord stretches quite a bit ... I could probably have gotten away with knotting 5.5 inches rather than 6 (or maybe I just need to give the craft cord a few tugs before I start knotting, that might have helped.) Anyway, will definitely make this one again. 👍
Beautiful pattern, I absolutely love it. I'm going to make it again for my husband. One heads-up is that the same 2 strings seem to weave the single diagonals (pale green and beige in my photo) and so they will run out more quickly. A cleverer person than me could probably figure out at the start which two strings will be the diagonals and cut them longer than the others. I used 36" for each string and had a lot of extra on 4 of them and barely enough for those diagonals on a 6" weave. Hope this is helpful and definitely make this pattern, it's gorgeous ☺️
