@jukey The strings coming off the 1st square were shorter, and the strings coming off the 5th square were longer, so I tied the first long string over the first short string, and then tucked the short string inside the star. Then I tied the second long string over both the first long string and the second short string, and then I tucked the second short string inside the star. I did this until all the short strings were inside the star and all the long strings were coming out the top. Sorry, that is probably a really confusing explanation, but I hope it helped a bit.
