@rafulin oooh that's actually such a good tip, thank you! When comparing the skeins at the store it seemed like it would work but I never though about how small the grey spots really were. 😅
@Valhannah When you want to choose colors with better results, you can place them next to each other and take a black-and-white photo. If you can still tell the colors apart in the picture, then the bracelet will probably have good contrast, and the colors will show nicely in the final piece. 🙂
I made this for my little cousin who is a proud Slytherin!? I probably could have made it longer but will tell her its a bookmark, again like others I made I keep having issues with pulling knots through and the wrong colour pops, I dont know if this is a me issue or the pattern. Probably me. I also dont think the grey I chose popped enough off the green, or vice versa. DMC 25: 905 Dark Parrot Green, 03 Medium Tin Grey, 535 Very Light Ash Grey. Overall great banner pattern for the Hogwarts Houses!
