@Riverwell3 I'm not sure exactly, but this pattern is relatively asymmetrical and the heart alternates between light and dark outlines for each repetition. So for rows 19-36 the colors are reversed in that 2nd repetition. Also, after each heart, the lines continue diagonally to make the candystripe look, which leave the dots outlined in light string on the right side and outlined in dark on the left. For the next repetition the dots are outlined opposite, which can be confusing if you're only repeating the first part of the pattern or trying to knot it symmetrical ๐
