@mrsC it shouldn't be gappy. I know that some people struggle with fb and bf knots specifically. They are a little harder to tie without gaps but it is possible with a little practice.

I do love how it looks and how the colours stay in the same place, the design seems to be abit gappy tho, doesn’t matter how much u pull the knots
