@kris-b#56024 is actually pretty much this pattern's center area, and I also tried making one just now, but making normal patterns still confuse me, so I might practice more with normal patterns, and then try again with this pattern once I am more confident with them. 😊
Hi @FrayedKnot ! It's all good with me. Feel free to copy/modify/tweak it as much as you want. Also, check out my pattern #56024 which is very similar but without the borders. I have a photo on that one that of a bracelet I knotted. Honestly, I think the slits that I added to the middle of it were kinda stupid (I can say that, right, since it's my own pattern?!) So I definitely think you could improve by doing exactly that pattern but without the slits. And you have my full permission if you want to!
