Tried cross stitch, but I'm too scared to continue as I was occasionally misplacing my needle and now with a toddler in the house, it didn't feel safe. I tried crochet, but my hands would fatigue, I think due to poor technique. I was aware of the alpha method, having adapted alpha patterns for cross stitch and have decided to give it a go; mainly because there is no requirement for hardware and thus seems to be somewhat portable.
