Hey! I’m Olivia, a girl from Belgium who’s slightly obsessed with making bracelets!
I started making them when I was 10 back in 2018, on a summer camp. We had a workshop one morning where we learned how to make a bracelet and I loved it! I looked up so much to the big girls making bracelets with complicated patterns, and I secretly hoped that one day, I would be as good as them. Each moment of spare time that camp I was making bracelets, and while they looked awful, I sure found my love for knotting then!
Over the years I kept on going to summer camp and making bracelets (okay, the bracelet-making was on and off, cause if we’re honest, I thought I was WAY too cool to make bracelets in my 13 y/o head), and if I say so myself, I think I might have got a little bit better! This year was the first year that I gave the workshop myself at camp. Real full circle moment!
I’ve been using braceletbook for a while now, and finally decided to make an account, mostly because I’ve been inventing my own patterns and I would love to share them with you guys!
I love bracelets with 3–4 colours and 6–10 strings, as I don’t really like it when my bracelets take too long to make😉.
I recently started trying out alpha’s, but still prefer normal bracelet making, as I love to see a pattern form.
