Hello! Welcome to my bracelet book profile!
A bit about me!
I am a christian, I believe Jesus Christ (God in human form) came to earth, died on the cross for my sins, and rose again. Saving me from eternal separation from God and gifting me eternal life because I have accepted him as my lord and savior, and his spirit is alive within me. I believe he is coming again.
I'm an artist and do a little bit of everything, including drawing, painting (watercolor, acrylic), sculpture, origami, and obviously bracelets and macrame, etc. Within my art I mainly do botanicals (plant life)/nature, birds, butterflies, snakes/reptiles, and other things along those lines.
I love the outdoors and hiking. I'm an amateur forager; I also enjoy rockhounding.
'Slight' caffeine addict.
I'm a senior in high school and plan to start my own business when I graduate (even if it is just an Etsy); I am (as of now) not going to college.
I was a summer camp counselor at a church camp near me. I absolutely loved doing it and teaching campers the art of bracelet making.
Sports I've done: Weightlifting (kind of a sport, I guess) and Swimming.
I love making bracelets; it's one of my favorite hobbies and pastimes and I've been doing it for over a year and a half now. I enjoy puzzling out the tricky and really big patterns. I eventually want to start designing my own patterns, but im still getting the hang of it. I plan on selling my bracelets soon, and I am working on getting an Etsy shop started! (I will make sure that is listed here once it's up!) I have a few different ideas im really excited to try out in that regard. My favorite bracelets to make are normals with 14+ strings. I have not yet gotten into alphas.
You can find me on instagram as lord.of.the.strings_bracelets, where I post my work (frequently-ish). I'm a (very) small creator right now and would SO appreciate any support! I am currently only selling on Facebook Marketplace, and my facebook is linked on my Instagram page!
Some of my favorite music artists are Livingston, The Gray Havens, Coldplay, Noah Kahan, Tors, Brenn!, The Avett Brothers, Hozier, Chance Pena, Lord Huron, The Lumineers, Phillip Phillips, Northwest Stories, Gregory Alan Isakov, Caamp, Gavn! Saint Motel, Josiah Queen, Woodlock, Caleb Hearn, Harrison Boe, and the list goes on. (yes, my taste in music is all over the place) ๐
Some of my favorite books/series are The Lord of the Rings (obviously), The Hobbit, The Hunger Games, etc. (I also love writing myself and dapple in fan-fic and my own creative stories and poetry.)
Favorite TV shows/movies are The Hunger Games franchise, The Walking Dead, Lost, Haven, Lord of the rings (extended editions ๐), The Hobbit, Avatar (the ones by James Cameron), and more.
I love getting friend requests! And won't turn any awayโI love seeing what other people create! โค๏ธ
โIt is good to love many things, for therein lies true strength, and whosoever loves much, performs much, and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is well done. I always think that the best way to know God is to love many things.โ
