Braided Alpha Technique
This technique creates the illusion of a braid within an alpha. To achieve the braided appearance, you braid the base threads as you tie the knots. This technique can be used to add a border to the sides of your alpha bracelets, to make a thin simple bracelet, or even to make keychains. This technique was invented by @vennix (madebyamberrae on Instagram).

Clean Back Alpha Technique
Because it allows you to make alphas with clean backs, this technique is known as the clean alpha back technique. This is a useful technique because most people dislike the cluttered back of standard alphas, and it allows us to produce reversible/double sided alphas. This technique can be used to make double-sided keychains, bracelets, wall hangings, and any other item that involves a regular alpha. This technique was developed by Instagram user @mjlgvw (knotting_addict on Instagram).
This is the original tutorial found on the Instagram of @mjlgvw. There is also a written tutorial by this user here on braceletbook.

Butterfly Chain Bracelet
This technique creates a cool bracelet that looks like several butterflies. The pattern is #78834 and this technique was created by @22graffeod (Boredom.bracelets on Instagram).

Braided/Twisted Normals
Many people have used this technique to create a twist or braid in their bracelets. You can use any pattern for this technique that is doubled or tripled for example: #185. This technique was created by @Margaron.

Wavy Alpha Keychain
This technique uses the shaped alpha technique to create a zig zag effect. You can use this technique in keychains, bracelets, etc. To do this technique you have a set amount of base strings and knot over a group of strings for the edges on the left and right, adding/subtracting a string into the middle; if you would like to make this the pattern is #92753 and Audrey has a reel tutorial on her instagram. This technique was created by @anonte2 (audreysthreads.co on Instagram).
Frilly Edges
This technique adds frilly edges to both normals and alphas. This technique requires the use of a small object such as a safety pin to create an equal space on the edges of your creation. There is a tutorial on braceletbook which was created by @clairehair (claire_wears_spam on Instagram).
Square Knots Macrame Finish
This technique uses square knots to create a cool macrame triangular end effect. You can use this technique to end keychains as well as wall hangings. The original tutorial to this technique was created by @Margaron (megmakescrafts on Instagram).

Seamless Ends Technique
As the name suggests this technique allows you to make the bracelet have seamless ends, which means the two ends of the bracelet are attached without it being noticeable. This can be useful when making rings and bracelets for certain projects. The technique was created by @AmzgAndrea (amazing_andrea_1 on instagram) and the tutorial can be found under the tutorials tab here on braceletbook.
