How to Tie a Tiffany Bow
Used to add a bow to the tassel.
Materials
- Needles
- Beads
- Keychain
- 1 Skein of Embroidery Floss Scissors
- Ribbon (Optional)
Step 1
Take your skein of embroidery floss and cut off one strand of thread from the skein. It’ll be used to secure the tassel and thread the beads with the keychain onto the tassel. This strand will need to go through all of your beads twice so make sure it's long enough. Divide the strand of thread in half and place the strand into the middle of the skein.
Step 2
Tie the strand twice then flip the skein over so that it looks like the picture.
Step 3
Take the longer strand and thread it through the needle of your choice. This needle should be small enough to go through your beads. Otherwise, if the needle is too big, it won’t fit through the beads. Begin threading the beads on the strand.
Step 4
Take your keychain, slip the needle with thread into the hole of the keychain then go through the first bead. Thread through the rest of the beads. Make sure to keep the thread tight.
Step 5
Remove the needle once you’ve gone through all the beads. Take the strand you used with the needle and the other one you tied the skein with and tie them together 3 times in the middle of the skein. This should be hidden inside of the skein.
Step 6
Take one of the strands and wrap the strand around the top of the tassel. Make sure to keep the strand tight.
Step 7
Thread the strand through your needle, then go into the hole at the top of the tassel into the middle of the tassel. Unthread your needle.
Step 8
Take your scissors cut through the loop at the bottom and trim the tassel to be even. You can now attach the ribbon to your tassel, placing it between the top of the tassel and under the first bead. Use the video above to help you.
