You can clearly see the diamond and chevron shape in this pattern. {What kind of start?} I would either do two teardrop loops, (yeah, that is possible) or two triangle ends. By the way, I don't want to be rude in anyway to the creator, I just wan to help people out. I see a lot of comments asking about segment knotting, or how to start, so I want to help.
